January 27th-30th we took a team to the Worship Symposium in Pasadena. Pastor Fisher is amazing. The meetings had a balance between order and libe rty. Thousands of worshippers came from all over; prophetic songwriters, instrumentalists, dancers, mimes, etc. There were over a 100 classes. Jeff and I along with our dance team moved out prophetically during the worship time. I felt like we were on fire. Jeff and I came back with a new zeal and impartation for worship.
Philippines
This was probably the most fruitful missions trip in regards to harvesting. 15,800 people received Christ! Most were high school students. We went to 12 different high schools ranging from 800 to 5000 students at one time and everywhere we went 80%-100% would receive Christ as their savior.
Each school called a rally before we came so that we could speak to the whole school. Hal (“Souls For Christ) the leader of the trip printed up thousands of bookmarks that had the sinner's prayer in English on one side and their language on the other. Hal booked 3 meetings a day from schools, churches, to little islands. We woke up at 5:00am and went to bed at 10:00pm at night; this was our schedule every day. I got use to it after a while. Our break consisted of driving for hours, or going on a fishing boat to our next destination.
One of the islands we went to you could feel the oppression and witchcraft. We walked through the village and handed out candy inviting all the people to come to a meeting we were going to have. We did a few mimes, Hal preached and many came forward for prayer. Jeff and I prayed for a little blind girl, she started to see figures. The atmosphere on the island changed as we prayed for her.
After each rally we would go into a room with a group of students that were sponsored by Hal to go to school. In the Philippines you have to pay to go to school and most of the population cannot afford to pay for it. Hal and Linda have sponsored hundreds of kids. We heard the testimonies of the youth and held them in our arms as they shed their tears. They thanked us for the opportunity to go to school and receive an education. This broke me! Jeff and I came back to our home church (that meet on Tuesday nights) and told everyone that we wanted to sponsor 100 children to go to school. Everyone pitched in and since it is $8 a year per student, we sent $800 for the cause.
So many things happened on this trip. It would be hard to write them all down. For instance, the Lord gave us sermons in two minutes three times a day before each meeting. As we obeyed the Holy Spirit, the level of the anointing was outstanding. The glory of our Lord poured out on everyone. As a result of many, got healed and saved. We made many new friends on this trip.
Jeff's Birthday/San Francisco Outreach
March 19th was Jeff's birthday. We went to San Francisco by Pier 39 to preach the gospel. Jeff and I did some mimes and many were touched. Paul, Noreen and Brian worshipped with all their hearts. The atmosphere changed and the anointed hit in waves. People would stop from all over the area (frozen and drawn) to hear what we were saying. A lot of tracks were handed out and many people were ministered to. Christina Sagor (Jimmy's Wife) along with Molina her daughter was our prize winning ministry team that handed out most of the tracks. They were impressive. After the outreach we went to the Grotto on the Wharf and had a birthday party for Jeff.
1st Annual Woman's Prophetic Conference “Fresh Oil of Intimacy”
The Woman's Retreat on May 13 th & 14 th was an astounding event. It was held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Ca.
Pastor Kari and her worship team from Believer's Ministry International came and ministered. P. Kari's preaching was raw and full of meat. Before she came to the conference she had pastors from other nations calling her and letting her know that the Holy Spirit had them fasting and praying for her. The Lord told them that wherever she was going HE was going to show up strong (that was our conference)! P. Kari warred in the spirit that tore down, rooted out, and restore the city of San Jose for Christ. A week later Chuck Pierce prophesied that something happened the last weekend in San Jose in the spiritual realm, I had many people calling me to let me know the news. They all believed it was the Woman's Conference.
Each meeting we had a testimony before the preaching:
Friday Night Janice King disclosed her past of abuse and rejection, which caused her to go into the homosexual lifestyle and eventually become homeless. She then shared how the Lord took her out of this lifestyle by His love and how He changed her life. Today, Janice King is a spectacular Christian businesswoman and a woman of God. She stepped out in faith by the Holy Spirit to tell her story. However she felt safe to reveal the torments of her past because she found that the women present suffered the same things.
Saturday Morning Kristina Marriott shared her testimony of sexual abuse that took the meeting into another realm of healing, and many were able to experience their own pain through her openness. (I was astonished about the line-up the Lord had given me before the conference.)
Saturday Evening Pastor Leslie Tong from Freedom Worship Center talked about her insecurity and fascination with suicide before she got saved and how the Lord took her broken life and transformed her into a brilliant businesswoman and pastor. Not only does she value her life now, she has a compassion for those who combat depression and thoughts of suicide.
The Holy Spirit wanted to do major surgery that weekend. After Each Testimony, P. Kari took each testimony and brought it to another level as the Holy Spirit shined a spotlight in each woman's heart and performed surgery. The message that she expounded upon in each meeting was “The Bride vs. The Concubine Mentality”. To those that attended this conference… NO MORE BUBBA'S!
Saturday Afternoon we had three ‘prophetic call out rooms' and every woman present received a prophetic word. I cannot tell you how many times women came up and said that the ‘prophetic call out rooms' blessed them the most.
Well to some it up, we worshipped and sucked carpet, we laughed, cried and said, “Did she just say that?” (Referring to Pastor Kari and her raw preaching). We prophesied and received prophecies. We bore our hearts and received healing and surgery, we repented for our nations racism, and we went away changing our mentality from a ‘concubine' mentality (who is owned, second class, a slave and has ‘no say') . . . to a bride who knows the King (Yeshua) as the beloved Spiritual Husband. We became the women that have the right to enter His presence. We discovered how special we are to our beloved Jesus (Yeshua) and believe we are our Heavenly Father's favorite daughters. We are all princesses and queens in Christ. When we believe and become this, we will stop looking for those “Bubba's” that want to misuse, abuse and treat us like a piece of meat.
Men's Retreat “Run To The Battle”
May 20-22, Men came from several fellowships: AIM – Morgan Hill, Ca / FWC – San Jose, Ca / Believers Ministry – Rialto, Ca / Local Men – Sonora, Ca.
The location of the meeting was in Sonora, California (the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain). The accommodations were at the Long Barn Lodge and the men had their meetings in old ice rink.
Several musicians and singers led the worship team. The combination of the worship team and all the men worshipping our Lord God ushered in His presence. All the men got involved in the expression of worship. The unison of singing, dancing, flag waving, and travailing all ushered in the presence of God. The flow of the Spirit was evident as testimonies and salvation went forth on the first night. Amen!
The messages from the speakers were outstanding:
Hoa Tong, Sr. Pastor (FWC) shared an inspiring word about the ‘Ziklag' in 1 Samuel 30. P. Hoa showed us how King David “chose” to encourage himself in his Lord God when all of life circumstances were against him (v6). Next, David reminded himself of “God's purpose” in his life by referring back to the promises of God's word (re: the ephod in v7). Then, he inquired of the Lord in what he should do from this tragedy in life. God answered David with resounding courage to “pursue, overtake, and recover all that was lost without failure” (v8). I recommend men (and women) to study the passage of scripture for themselves because the ‘Ziklag' experience is for all who live on this earth.
Jeff Parrott, Sr. Pastor (AIM) shared on how men can ‘get real' with a ‘Real God.' Jeff shared on how men can be honest with themselves in regards to the brokenness of one's heart and ‘get real' before their Heavenly Father.
Jeff Kirschbaum, Sr. Pastor (BM) spoke on how a man's heart can be restored by our Heavenly Father. After his message, P. Jeff (along with other leaders) ministered to the men's hearts by laying of hands, praying, and prophesying. There was a great river of God's healing power. All the men got prayed for and there were many who got their heart restored to the Father's heart (love) with God's healing power.
The ministry time for all the meetings were outstanding:
Men got set free and healed from the bondages of sin and men got ministered and prophesied on. During our free time, men were able to get to know one another. We got to meet new people. Some were able to explore the campgrounds and just enjoy the nature of the Sierra Nevada foothill. Our meals were scrumptious! Amen!
Overall the Men's Advance (Retreat) meeting was a success and a blessing to all who attended. The men look forward to next years AIM/FWC/BC Men's Advance meeting.
Worship Symposium at Believer's Ministry International
May 27 th – 28 th was Believer's 1 st Worship Symposium. Jeff and I went and taught a flag class and a streamer/dance class. The Lord also gave me a prophetic dream that we used at the end of our last session. The Lord gave me what is called a ‘12 Month Healing Circle.' There were 12 pieces of paper and one of the months was typed on it, I put it in a counter-clock circle on the ground. I saw it as a count down from 12 to 1. And January was number 12. I had the whole group stand on each month as they went through the cleansing of that month and moved to the next. We had a person grab each piece of paper after they stepped off of that month symbolizing that they were healed of that area.
We went through all 12 months and each month was a different area that needed deliverance and healing. There was an amazing transformation! After that (as in my dream), we all bowed on our knees as the bride and the train of His robe ready to be married to Jesus. Jeff stood in proxy as Jesus and spoke love and life over everyone.
The night session was amazing as we worshipped for hours. The teenagers broke out and started dancing during worship (Jeff and I got right in the middle of them and got wild with them). As the music changed from rock to hip-hop, the teenagers started rapping and prophesying. Jeff and I were truly blessed to be apart of this. The pastor said that the youth have been forever changed since the symposium.
Pure Worship Concert w/ ONUP
Steve from ONUP productions recruited many different singers, worship bands, and artist from the Bay Area and put on a “Pure Worship” concert. We were invited to do two pieces. We ministered a mime called “He Is” and a dance to “Lord, Your Holy”. The presence of God was all over us and we received a lot of good feedback. Well to sum it up the night was stupendous, the theatre was classy, the artists were professional, and the lighting and special effects along with the multi-media was top notch. We were thrilled to be apart of this event, which mixed excellence with anointing. Thank You Steve for letting us be apart of this monumental night.
Believer's Conference
August 12 th -14 th was Believer's annual conference. Pastor Neville Owens from Jamaica, and Pastor Aido from Germany came and spoke. The worship was off the hook, and the teenagers were on fire. Pastor Kari had the teenagers minister the prophetic to us pastors. I loved it. It was pure and not prideful. Jeff and I got a prophecy that we are the parents to this generation.
Jeff and I along with Singrid pastor Aido's wife from Germany prophesied to all the youth. The presence of Yaweh was strong and the prophetic word was unstained. I just have to say that most meetings or conferences bore me, but not Believer's Conferences. I love to worship for more than 20 minutes (Lord help me contain myself about that one) without restrictions and hindrances.
In most meetings I wondering if I'm overstepping my bounds or embarrassing the pastor when I get excited about Yeshua. You see a worshipper singer or instrumentalist doesn't feel like they have worshipped God unless they are using their voice or instrument. My instrument is my body. I love to dance before the Lord, and if I'm not able to dance, I'm left wanting.
The preaching was also raw and real. No fluff! I love it. I like eating the meat of the Word in an unadulterated manner. Pastor Kari definitely does not preach a message that itches your ears nor does she bring in people to itch your ears.
Gathering Place Conference
August 19 th -21 st we went to Bakersfield. Debbie Aurin & Flor Hull put on the conference. I don't think I've ever felt this level of Glory and freedom in a meeting. As I was moving to the worship, my spirit was opened and a new creative dance started to flow through me. Jeff and I did a Mime/Dance workshop. I ministered to the song “Alabaster Box” through the art form of mime.
During one of the worship sessions, which went on for a couple of hours, I fell to the floor and cried. The Lord Yeshua was doing heart surgery in me. He told me that he had been bragging on us and that the devil wanted to sift us like wheat. He allowed the sifting to happen. We had our house taken and the $400,000 equity. Pastors were telling people to stay away from us. They just didn't feel right about us in their spirit (we were wondering about what happened to the scripture… “You who are spiritual restore such a one in a manner of meekness least you fall into the same temptation”). They also came to some assumptions that were not true. Our whole house church was rocked and many stopped coming. Each one, the devil tried to pluck off with poisonous words. They are back now because of our prayers and the Lord lifting the sifting. We have our own business and no work came in which was unusual. The levels of attack we were facing in the midst of this was more than most could handle.
So this Conference marked the lifting of the sifting, even though it was a month later that we started to feel the breakthrough. I believe for a double portion of the spirit, finances, houses, relationships and favor just like Job.
Mexico Missions Trip w/ Believer's Ministry International
September 9 th -12 th Jeff and I flew out to Ontario to meet the Believer's group on Thursday. We drove to Mexico on Friday.
Max from Believer's had rallied 30 pastors for this event; he also put out his own money to support this outreach. The whole event was done in the bullring.
Friday night we had a wonderful time in worship, the word and prayer. You could feel the resistance and warfare. Bernadette (a dancer from Believer's) and I started to pray, we then got our long scarves and started to warfare dance over the bullring. My scarf was bright red and pastor Kari said I looked like a bullfighter. Believer's Ministry was doing the pre-worship and we felt a break through in the spirit. Jeff and I started getting the youth and others to dance as worship was going on to help break through and have a little fun.
Saturday was extraordinary. Several Hundred un-saved people showed up for this event. They had different booths including; dentist who worked on their teeth, hair dressers cutting hair, food (hamburgers, soda and chips), eye doctor who checked their eyes and had a group of intercessors pray over them (there were a lot of people healed), clowns handing out candy, and many other booths. The night meeting was packed and filled with excitement. Many received Christ and got prayed for. I had prayed for a little girl (the night before) about 10 years old, she was the dance instructor for her church. All the other girls were older. I was told that she went home crying and praising God, she couldn't sleep and she told her mother that she felt the Holy Spirit when I prayed for her.
Our group also walked over to an orphanage, I went into the nursery and couldn't leave for 2 hours. At the end we prayed for all the children. I also had a prophetic word for a young girl named Hannah who was an actress and spent her weekends helping the children in the nursery. At first she didn't want prayer but then she agreed. I felt the Holy Spirit on me and by the end she was weeping. Hannah wasn't a Christian but the Lord Yeshua was drawing her. I directed her to Kim Clements meetings in Hollywood.
As we were about to leave Southern California and fly back home we went out to eat, the Holy Spirit kept moving on my heart to talk to a guy close by and tell him that he was in the middle of a deal and it wasn't a good deal and that the people were not working for his best interest. I told him that the Lord sees and loves him. He thanked me and understood. Very seldom has the Lord given me a word for someone I wasn't talking to or that I didn't know.
D.J. Love Parade
Saturday, September 24 th Jeff, Alina, Kristina, Brian, and Dennis went up to U.N. Plaza to minister with S.O.S. ministries, they had a 4-hour permit during the D.J. & Love Parade. 75,000 people were there. We did a few mimes, preached. We had 3 Christian D.J.'s who mixed music as the parade came through our area and ended in back of us.
I (Alina) ministered to a guy named Carl who came out of the homosexual lifestyle and had aids. He told me that he had been watching Joyce Myers for months. He said that he was no longer practicing homosexuality yet Christian were telling him he was still going to hell. I ministered the love of God to him and dedicated the mime “Alabaster Box” to him. Kristina went back over to him; she ministered to him and got his contact information.
I expected some weird things but I guess the word LOVE Parade did not hit me until I saw all the men and women half dressed and in furs or painted on clothes. I was watching the parade and here come some naked people. I started to walk away and I felt covered by the Lord but one of the naked guys started following me. Well I just kept my head up while Kristina put my scarf over Faith her 7-year-old daughter's head.
Jeff & Kristina started proclaiming and singing Jesus with the house music going, their was a battle in the spirit. You could feel intense evil in the air and you could feel the presence of the Lord. We started breaking through.
Then hundreds of cops in helmets and batons marched passed us going to the where the love parade ended. We wanted to see what was going on so we walked over. There was a small group of kids being detained by cops all around them. I found out they were an Anarchist Group. There were other Anarchist taunting the officers that were not in the middle, Jeff decides to go over by them and hand out tracks. The evil was so intense a part of me felt like leaving, and another part of me wanted to stay. I stayed in back of Jeff praying for him, the cops, and the people. Jeff went right in the middle of the Anarchist group and started open air preaching. They were an angry mob! They started surrounding Jeff and cussing at the top of their lungs, well if you know Jeff that excites him, and makes him keep going. They kept on trying to chant and get themselves angry, but Jeff kept speaking life and blessing them, which diffused them. I kept praying. Jeff turned to one of the young girls that was cussing at him and said, “I appreciate your passion.” She didn't know what to say after that and shut up. I then heard Jeff chant, “Pro Jesus, Anti War.” As they were chanting some things I cannot even write in here. There were many buses being driven up to this area with intensions of taking a lot of the people away (they had intensions of taking more than just the small group in the middle away), the police officers also had tear gas. More cops started driving up in motorcycles. Jeff spoke life and I prayed, a half an hour later they were taking the group in the middle and everything was dispersing as we left. I understand the phrase, “being a light in the midst of hell.” You could feel evil like you've never felt before. (The other Christians did not even want to go over where we were) Yet I also felt like God put us in the middle to be a light and destroy what the devil wanted to do. It was exciting!
News Stations and Newspapers were out there, we were in a lot of pictures. I'm sure the FBI took some pictures of us as well (HaHa), we were right in the heart of the whole thing. (The entire Anarchist were wearing black, Jeff had a bright red silk shirt on, and I had a bright red shirt on for mime so we stood out).
Sonora Church Service and Halloween Outreach
Jeff and I were invited to minister at a church in Sonora October 30 th - 31 st . I ministered a song “Alabaster Box” in the morning. Jeff and I did a few mimes at night and Jeff preached. I have seen a transformation in Jeff's preaching as we have come out of the season of brokenness. He had a sermon prepared yet he added parts of his testimony prophetically that ministered to the people present. He went into a revelation about worship that ministered to the people there. (My mother had cancer and we did everything in the natural from homeopathic to Chemo. In the spiritual Realm we fasted, believed in faith, took her through inner healing and forgiveness, and deliverance and yet she was still getting worse. My husband was numb and becoming cold towards God, his own mother went through the same thing and she died, so this was a replay. A friend of ours came over and they began to have a pity party, until my husband said we need to stop and worship the Lord. The coldness broke, his faith was restored and he cried for the first time in a very long time.) What we didn't know was that there was a family there that night that had just lost someone dear to them and it rocked the whole town. The wife of the man who died was there along with his brother, his best friend, his father, his mother, his nieces and nephews. At the end the whole family except for the father came to the altar and received prayer. We cried with them and loved on them. You have to be really careful what you say when someone dies. You cannot say “He's in a better place”, “You should have had more faith”, “If you would have only tried this he would still be alive”, “I know what your going through”. People who are going through this just want to hear you say, “I'm sorry you have to go through this”. Don't compare stories! I looked at the best friend of the young man who died and prayed over him and said, “I am so sorry for all the judgment the church has put on you, the glares, the words. It has been a religious spirit and not from God.” He started to break down and cry. You have to understand this guy was very hard and turned off towards Christians, he was a marine (A man's man). Jeff then spoke to him and stood in proxy for the church and said “Please forgive me for judging you, for not believing in you, etc.” The man began to wail and Jeff held him in his arms. What a night!
Monday night was Halloween and we went with the church out to the low-income apartments. The church set up a stage, had hot dogs, candy, games, jumping gym, and cotton candy. Many children and their parents came out. Jeff and I did a few mimes and the people were ministered to (this was the icing on the cake). At the end of the night a few of the little girls jumped up on the stage (I did as well), and we dance to the music and had fun. One of the little girls ran up to me as she was leaving, gave me a big hug and said, “I hope you are coming back.” This is what it's all about!!!!!
Freedom Worship Center
Sunday, November 6 th we ministered our new mime “A Little Longer” about a woman who thought she needed to perform for Jesus to be accepted; Jesus shows her that all he wants is to spend time with her. She transitions from a Martha to a Mary. At the end Jeff and I do a ballet love dance symbolizing Christ and His bride.
Jeff preached on Storms and how most Christians think you are in sin if your going through anything, he then broke down the 3 different areas to look at; 1. Spiritual Warfare, 2. Hidden Sin, 3. Trial of our Faith. This sermon really ministered to a lot of people. This sermon was what I needed to hear. I realized that Jeff and I had been facing not only spiritual warfare but also the trial of our faith producing gold. I then remembered the scripture, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” Jn. 12:24
In this last season, ministry died, stuff was stripped away from us and we felt judged and forsaken. Yet this NEEDED to happen to take us into our next level in God. Everything we had NEEDED to fall to the ground and die so that we are able to produce the next level of fruit. Hallelujah!!!!
